Hitting On All Cylinders

We knew that coming out fast was going to be important for us against the Lions. Their offense has been potent all season, so we absolutely knew coming out strong was going to be important. That was even a bigger deal once they came out and scored early, so we were all glad that we could help our defense out by scoring early and often.

Every team requires strong leadership to be effective, and Case’s leadership was huge for us in the fourth quarter. He kept pushing us to score and he was adamant that we needed to finish the game with the ball in our hands. We did not want to give Detroit's offense a chance to win the game as the clock wound down. His challenge for all of us to finish well was huge, and I think we did a good job living up to that challenge.

At this point in the season, our offense is beginning to find our stride. Over the past few games we have been able to start the game fast and then come out in the second half and do the same. I believe that the sky's the limit when we are hitting on all cylinders. We can be a truly explosive offense at the end of the season and into the playoffs.

We knew that winning on Thanksgiving was crucial if we wanted to be able to win the division. Thanks to our win against the Lions we now have a three game in the race to win the division. We know that we control everything that is in front of us. We just have to continue to push to get better and keep finding ways to win.

If I know one thing to be true, it is that the next few games are going to be very interesting, lets see where they take us!
